Questions about websites
Having delivered many website solutions to all types of customers, we often hear the same questions when it comes to investing in a new website – we’ve collected some of the most important questions here. We’re always ready to answer your questions if you’re considering a new website.
How much does it cost?
Just like buying a house or a new car, the price can vary depending on what you're looking for. A WordPress template is a cheaper solution that gets you up and running quickly, whereas a customized WordPress solution can be made exactly the way you want it. Always start with a no-obligation conversation with us and together we'll find the solution that best suits your business and your budget.
What is included in the price?
At Alpha Agency, we can help you with everything related to your new website. If you don't have the time or don't want to do the copywriting or content creation yourself, this is exactly where we can help. That way, we can do what we do best while you do what you do best - running your business.
Does it work on mobile?
With 86% of 15-89 year olds in Denmark using mobile phones to search online, we as an agency understand the importance of responsive websites. This means that whether your customers visit your website from mobile, tablet or PC, they will encounter a beautiful, professional and well-structured website.
Can I update the pages myself?
All our website solutions are built in WordPress. WordPress is one of the world's most widely used CMS systems, and also the most user-friendly. It makes it easy for you to update texts, images and information on your new website - all by yourself. If you're not familiar with WordPress, we'll make sure you get a course in the system before delivery.
What about hosting the site?
We take care of uploading the finished website to your web space - a service that is always included in our prices. We also have a large server park ourselves, so we can host the solution for you. Our hosting prices start from just DKK 149 per month.
Questions about the webshop
Whether you need a simple template, bespoke or integration solution, there will always be some questions that come up. We understand that! That’s why we’ve put together a list of questions that are always good to get answers to before deciding on a new webshop.
What is the difference between a template and a custom solution?
Depending on the complexity of your idea, we can build your webshop based on a template or as a custom-made webshop (a webshop we code from scratch). The price is the difference, along with the uniqueness of the solution.
What does a webshop cost?
The price of a webshop varies depending on your wishes for design, content, integrations, etc.
The cheaper the webshop, the fewer man-hours needed to set it up. There's no obligation to take a meeting with us, and we'll include everything you need in the price.
Does the solution work on mobile?
Yes! All our solutions play 100% on mobile. You even have the option to differentiate content from desktop to mobile. Sometimes this makes it even easier for the customer to shop on mobile.
How long does it take?
A webshop can be ready for testing within 4 weeks - depending on how much custom development is required. If you need a customized solution, we'll work with you to create a project plan so you know when everything will be ready.
What is an integration?
Integration is a process where different devices are connected to each other. For example, a webshop that is connected to a financial system or a freight agreement. In other words, it's a way to automate and optimize processes.
What about redemption agreements?
We take care of that too. That way, you don't have to set up an acquiring agreement and payment gateway.
Questions about marketing
“I want to be found online by my customers, but how can I best do that?” – A question many business owners understandably ask themselves. Here at Alpha Agency, we help all types of businesses get found in the best possible way on digital media. There is no one size fits all when it comes to marketing.
Organic or paid traffic?
Think of it as a balancing act - organic traffic should not replace paid traffic.
However, paid traffic is the best bet if you are looking for quick results. If you are looking for the most economical and effective in the long run, organic traffic is the way to go.
In general, however, a mix of organic and paid traffic is best. If you are present in both places, you will most likely increase traffic to your site and thus also increase conversions. If you have two positions in the search results - one organic and one paid - traffic often increases quite a lot.
I have an online shop that doesn't sell - what am I doing wrong?
There are several parameters that come into play here.
The design of the webshop has a lot to say - a bit like walking into a dirty shop - your desire to shop there decreases.
If you have traffic, it's usually prices, images, speed and payment flow that you should optimize.
I would like to get more inquiries via my website?
Leads rarely come by themselves! That's why you need to start marketing. Both Facebook Ads and Google Ads have ad types that are beneficial for lead generation. SEO will also make sense. In general, it's about spreading your marketing mix across multiple channels so that a potential lead meets you in several different places.
I can't see results from the money I invest
When advertising on Google Ads and Facebook Ads, for example, the most important element is to set up conversion tracking. That way you can see every time an ad creates a sale. If you can't measure this, you won't know if your advertising is creating value for your business.
What does it cost to get started?
It's entirely up to you! But we wouldn't recommend spending less than $20-30 per campaign. If you spend less, you simply won't get useful data. As a starting point, it's always good to start small. Then you can increase the budget depending on what works well for your business,
I want to get started with Google Shopping
If you have a lot of products in your webshop, Google Shopping is a good idea for most businesses. First, you need to upload your product feed to Google Mercant center, after which you can create Google Shopping campaigns in Google Ads.
I'm not being found on Google?
Then you need to take a look at your SEO! If you're not being found on Google, you most likely don't have many visitors to your site. That's why SEO is so important. SEO takes time and is not something you can do from one month to the next.
